    Season Showdown Points Decreasing?

    Alright I realize this question may be common knowledge to some of you out there but I just cannot for the life of me understand this problem....

    I was gaining roughly 400 points per game in my first 10 games, offline that is, for season showdown mode.

    Now I am only gaining around 220 points. This mainly comes from the points I am earning for victories. The difficulty and sliders have been the same throughout, set at AA and all penalties have been turned up.

    I have played rnaked opponents, non-ranked opponents, home and away...close games and blow outs....full games and partially super-simmed games. And for whatever reason, my points per game will not go back up again.

    Why? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

      EA can change how many points you can earn and i think have reduced some of the stuff.

          That would certainly explain it if that is the case. Is everyone noticing a difference in points?

              Yep. Significantly actually, like you. They probably adjusted it because scores were getting too high too quick

                  Thanks a lot...at least I know now there is nothing I can do about it!

                      I just got 350 points with UAB. UAB!!! With Miami I still average around 350-450 a game. I don't know why you guys are getting so low. Are you guys getting strategy and stuff? I get around 150 for a win, 100 in skills, 50 for strategy, 60-70 for sportsmanship, 5 underdog win.

                      Thats around 365-375 a game with Miami.

                          there is talk about making underdog be more depending on ranking difference between teams

                              Seeing as i play every game with Troy (Who got absolutely disregarded in ratings btw) i wish that underdog wins would count for more.

                              You'd think they didn't want people playing every game with Top BCS Schools...but then again maybe they do because those are the teams that they actually paid attention to detail for.

                              Alas, all i can do is take loss after loss and show them that someone cares.

                                  What about online? Do games online bring in more points than offline games?

                                      It depends usually not but in one game I got in the 500s because it was a shutout and I had like 3 picks and 2 safeties. Plus the offense was rollin.

                                          Do you have to play on heisman mode for the points to count??
