I consider myself an average player at best when it comes to the NCAA series. I used to play on varsity, but I'm ready for all-american.

Here's what I'm looking for:

I want to play games where anything can happen. One game can be like a 45-35 final score of a big 12 game which is common in that conference. Another game could have a 10-6 final score, which is common in the big ten.

I know that was hard last year because the 09 version was very offense friendly, so most games resulted with high scores.

I'm also looking for accurate QB passing stats. I think that maybe 22-30 for 225 yards happens more often than 7-28 for 67 yards. I'd rather see those stats based on the teams and players more than my ability playing the game, if that even makes sense. I'm sure there's someone out there who understands where I'm coming from, who feels the same way that I do.

So I guess what I want to know is, are these sliders intended to make the game more realistic, or more challenging? Do you believe I will get the desired results that I am looking for with this set? Thanks.

It's a bit of both. I'm actually making it realistic by making all of us and CPU to be mortal when it comes to kicking FGs or XPs. Also, I'm looking to try to make the games more diverse. I just had a game posted earlier that ended 10-7, Georgia Tech over Florida. That never happened for me last year because they all turned out into shootouts.

I've had some shootouts with this set as well. Chew Clock will make a huge impact in the games, making the scores and stats widely varied from game to game.

Good point. As a side note, there were three missed extra points in all. 1 by me (ND) and 2 by USC.

I only missed one XP so far. CPU hasn't missed any for me. IIRC, there was a kicker last year in real life missed 3 XPs in a game. Obviously, it can happen.

Unrealistic, but how do we fix too easy FG while not making PAT too difficult? lol

Unacceptable. lol

Don't USC have a bad kicker this year though?

Anyway, like I said before, I only missed one XP because I wasn't paying attention. I always just flick it around and will get it every time. This time, you actually have to kick it right!

CPU hasn't missed an XP on me yet. If it's really a big problem, all we have to do is bump up the FG accuracy for CPU. No biggie.

Re: SN's All American Sliders (Xbox 360)

Just played: Utah State at Oklahoma (me). I wanted to see if V1.0 would produce a blowout, which it should...and did. I only played the first half, and was up 35-0.

My running game was unstoppable, as this was my RB's line:

11 rush, 213 yards, 3 TD (long 75)

The important team statistics are as follows (OU listed 2nd):
Total offense: 170 - 329
Rushes/yards/TD: 14/22/0 - 13/224/3
Comp/Att: 11/22/158 - 7/10/105

Next I will try an opposite matchup, perhaps Army (me) at USC.

Adjust it to v1.2. There were some serious flaws with v1.0 with the kickoff game. That was fixed in v1.2.

I tried your sliders for my UNC dynasty and enjoyed the results.

Positives
+good defensive game 3-3 at halftime vs Arizona St.
+Human running seemed right

Negatives
-I had 4 sacks with one of my lineman, team total of 8 (not all blitzing)
-Not alot of time to scan the field and find a WR when passing - sacked a number of times
-8 penalties - 7 holding by my team

Overall, enjoyed the sliders. Will play again later and report back.

Yeah I had 5 holding penalties (combined) in the 1st half of my OU v. Utah State game; even with holding at 50...probably needs to come down to 45 or 40.
