Teambuilder and downloaded roster?

Question about rosters and teambuilder (360)...

Should the following work for me? (because I haven't gotten it to work so far)

1. Download whatever roster file so that I have the actual player names.
2. Start a dynasty
3. Download and swap/use the teambuilder team I created

Shouldn't I be able to have my teambuilder team play the other teams with the player names from the roster I downloaded?

Any suggestions, or can someone list the magical order of things I need to do so that I can use my teambuilder team against 'real' college player names?

Load your roster. Start a new dynasty. Make sure you do NOT check the option for autogenerate names.

Have you had any success with this? I am really interested to see if this works. So far, every named roster file I have looked at has really botched Penn State, my team. I'd love to know that this works!

I have gotten this to work. Import TeamBuilder teams is one of the options you can choose when setting up your dynasty. Make sure to do it before you continue to start dynasty.

Guys, the answer is right here. Before you start your dynasty go to settings>scroll to the end>load the roster file you want>start dynasty and choose create coach or use existing. The next screen will be Dynasty set up. The first section highlighted will be start dynasty. Go down to auto name players and toggle that OFF. Do as you please after that and there should be no reason what so ever you shouldnt have the real named players.

I think the original question was about getting TeamBuilder teams in with named rosters. So you need to do what you were suggesting: click no autonames; and then, you have to make sure to click import TeamBuilder teams on the dynasty setup screen. I think you can import up to 12 teams. Is that right?
