Weak Video Highlights in Halftime & Post Game Shows
 

It appears that the video highlights at Halftime and Post Game are pretty watered down in comparison to NFL 2K5. This isn't about me blasting Madden, but it is what it is. How is it that a last-gen game like NFL 2K5 got it right with presentation but EA's current-gen Madden can't get it right? There's a reason I haven't purchased this game since 06 and this is one of them.

It shouldn't be this way especially since the current-gen systems (Xbox 360 & PS3) have all the technology to make it right. It's a matter of laziness and lack of effort. It's also gamers not pushing EA hard enough as well. Some may not care about presentation, but I want a complete package. I wanted this to be a good game, but it's not going in that direction. The Devs tried, but they still need some seasoning.

The worse thing is that some posters will come out and say how appreciative we should be. Appreciative of what? Watching EA take 5 years to come close to getting it right? That's their job to make the game better. You don't have to buy from EA, they have to sell to you. On a positive note, I still wish EA the best of luck of trying to get this franchise right and continue to work hard. They're about 75% there to be honest!

I really hope they start handing out infractions for people that keep bringing up 2k5/2k8. They do it in the MLB forums for The Show and 2k, why not Madden? There is a whole separate forum for the 2k football games. If you want to talk about them go there.

The reason behind 2k5 and Madden being different is..... are you ready for this? Its because they had two seperate teams with two different visions on a game.

I don't know about everyone else, but I would rather that they focus on fixing the gameplay (which they did this year) than fixing the presentation.

IMO I'm just happy there's some presentation in the game at all!

I think it looks good and it can only get better from here, this is the first year in the "new direction" they're taking so I understand if it's a little "watered down".
