Wait, Patty Kane is 20 and the legal drinking age in the States is 21. Doesn't that mean he could be charged for underaged drinking?

I'm sure there's more to this story.
For all we know the guy got really lippy to them about being hotshots and should give him more money for a tip.
Maybe Kane thought "Screw you! I don't have to give you a fat tip just because I have a lot of money".

Then throw youth, ego and alcohol in the mix and you have this end result.

dumb move... if this is true, i just cannot imagine (as has been stated here already) something like this over twenty cents. just stupid, and there's NO way to justify this whatsoever.

...hope he's mentally tough because he'll probably see plenty of interesting signs in visiting arenas this year (and i'm looking forward to the creativity of them).

I saw the cabbie interviewed on TV just a while ago. The guy has a nice lil' shiner on his right eye. Basically what I got from him is that he told Kane that he didn't have the change and that they pummeled him, busted his glasses and took the guy's money when he couldn't give the 20 cents. Oh and Kane was going on about how "don't you know who I am" etc etc while wailing on the cabbie.

I'm sure there's more to this but right now it don't sound so good.
