FREEZING PROBLEM..PLEASE HELP!!

ok heres the deal..

I've had this game since it came out, and ive already played my 30 year franchise with the redskins, and I've completed the game basically.

but i got bored one day and was gonna start a new franchise with the Jets. SO i did and got past the 1st season..

now im at the beginning of the 2nd season, and on the 3rd preason game, but when i try to simulate all previous weeks to get to the next week, it just freezes on the same spot everytime, & I cannot get to the next week.

It's getting very irritating, can anyone help me out on how to solve this issue, I own this for the PS2 btw.

sorry about the freezing, but I have to applaud you on the dedication, 30 years, I think I played 9 on 2k for the dreamcast.

yea it sucks I had freezing problems on my first franchise.

But what it is I forgot what i did to stop that, last time it really froze on me before this, was like a few years ago.

2 quick things to check the date and time, is you clock set to the right time, this can cause bad previous game saves . Also if you were messing with the playbook , changing plays for some reason this can cause errors . use default playbook . other then this , I really dont know .

Create a new playbook and load it before every game. That stopped the freezing for me
