So ranked games are still 5 minutes and not 7 yet?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I had heard previously that online ranked games would be 7 minutes with the accelerated clock instead of 5 minutes. I do not have the game yet, but my friend just played a ranked game (on Xbox 360) that was 5 minutes with accelerated clock. So I'm assuming the quarter length hasn't been increased yet, or are they even doing it at all?

We plan to make the change to 7 but it requires a patch. We're closing out patch #1 right now so it can be available in a few weeks.

Would that change the achievements then? Almost all of them require 5 minute quarter games. A change to 7 would seem like it would make it impossible to get an achievement in an online game.

The online-dev's need to change the online setup. Things like "game options" should not be a feature that needs to be in a patch. This should be able to be changed on the EA servers end.

Every great online game I know of has the capability of changing options like these by the server itself.

This makes no sense because on tues and wed it was changed to 7 and then late wed back to 5. There was no patch needed they already changed it from 5 to 7 back to 5. That's bs. A few weeks is ridiculous to wait for something they've already done then undone. 7 mins acc clock was perfect. I've played two games now where we each had one posession in the first half. One. Bs.
