Do Commissioners really have no control?

So I was looking at the Web page, and on the site, and really it seems they have no control other than booting people?

The site really nice, but that is kind of deflating that a commish can't stop people from signing free agents that they didn't win in a bid or something like that.

I know in the their documentary video they said they will give us full control, but I see no control at all.

          Explain?

People can go and sign free agents at will, and the commish cannot do anything about it.

There is absolutely no tools on the website.

Here are the options for Commissioner.

          The settings obviously

          Then Post News

          Send Invites
          Password
          Promote Player
          Boot Player
          Delete Franshise.

Where can I change CPU teams Depth charts, add players, drop players?

No where. So again how am I wrong?

yes i have as well, you cant stop people from trading with the CPU either. We were told you could veto all trades. This is bullcrap

Yeah I keep looking and there is nothing. You just have to go by an honor system, but it looks like you can''t even force people to release a player. So you can boot someone, but you can't reverse anything. That is bad.

Re: Do Commissioners really have no control?

there is no way to cut CPU players or sign them. So that means NO free agency unless u have a full league

This totally ruins anyone wanted to play with CPUS. You cant trade with them fairly and you also will have the same teams the whole 10 years becuz there is no way to cut CPU players watta joke

I run a league. and yes you cant stop free agent signing. I did a work around to this i put league suspension if you dont follow the rules example. say a owner sign a free agent and doesn't get approved. I will boot them unitl they release the player. once they agree to I bring back in the league. or you can just turn off no cpu trades.
As commish im more concerned that that there no sliders and that we cant change the game speed to slow. But yes we are very limited in commisioner powers. does anyone know with roster update on 19 will it effect online franchise

I have rules in effect too, but it still doesn't stop someone from signing someone and NOT releasing them. You can boot them if they don't release the guy, but how are you going to get the guy off his teams?

Also say a guy wants to quit, and he trades his best players to another team, there is no way to veto this. Sure we can say it has to be approved, but once they do it, and they refuse to fix it, your screwed.
