Vick in roster update for 8/19?

According to a post on Donny Moore's Twitter page Vick will be in the next roster update that comes out on 8/19

He would have been in 1st one, but I think he missed EA's 1st Roster Update by about 8 hours. If he signed during Thursday morning I believe he would have been in it. I'm glad EA has finally announced their intentions to include him in their roster update. Bravo EA. Bravo.

I originally said that a 72 was more fair for Vick, and EA apparently said that's he's a 73. Somehow they think he's better than Vince Young. I have to agree with them. Vick is clearly better than Young. I do however feel that his THA is way too low. In only 2 seasons EA says his THA has gone from a 78 to a 69. That kills his ability to start for the Eagles. If Donovan McNabb gets hurt its obvious that he will start for them, but only after Week 6.

He should be in the game, but really, any ratings for Vick are sheer guesswork. Nobody has seen anybody take two full seasons off and then come back. It's almost unprecedented in recent NFL history.

He's probably lost a step... but he might have lost three steps. Does a guy lose some of his arm strength when he doesn't throw a ball for 18+ months? Does his accuracy decrease? Does his footwork deteriorate when he has zero coaching for two years?

Nobody knows; and so anyone saying what his rating ought to be based on the guy he was in 2006 is talking out of their ***.

I just got the game today and started a Packers franchise and was wondering where Chillar and Smith were. Chillar needs to be in because he is a pretty good LB and could start this year. Smith was one of only free agents they got because Thompson is dumb and never goes after free agents. I dont think smith will be that good because the only thing he is known for is promising a victory then getting burned.

correct, most of those players named won't even make the roster or get past the 1st cut. But lay off Holley man, i played against him in H.S. and we dominated him. He got us back in basketball though, Roselle was nasty.

I think I gave him Derek Anderson, not sure why but it looked like he just kinda flicks it and its not as sidearmed as VY. I also looked at Rivers, but Anderson just looked fluid to me.
