celg35 sliders for 5 minute games

being married with kids i have limited time , so i came up with some slider for a five minute game

7 minutes
15 second runoff
very slow 100 speed threshhold

human
1. passing
passing acc- 50
pass blocking- 50
reiceving -45

2****shing ( everything is on 50)

3.passdefense
reaction time -50
interceptions- 25
pass rushing- 100

4****sh defense
reaction time -5
block shedding -5
tackling -50 ( any thing lower gets too many unrealistic broken tackles)

cpu

1. passing
qb accuracy -75
pass blocking -5
wr catching -45 ( this will give you a good balance for dropped balls with good hits.)

2****shing
broken tackles -45 (anything higher makes kickers look unstoppable lol)
run blocking - 100( the cpu needs alot of help . this will give you some nice wholes for the cpu.)
fumbles-50 ( get about 1 or 2 a game with this)

3.pass defense
reaction time- 75 ( makes you have to make the right reads, and make them qick)
interception- 50
pass rush- 50 ( you need to get rid of the ball fast with this setting) when timed i get about 2-3 seconds to throw. pretty real to the nfl)

4****sh defense (everything is at 50)

penalties are all at 50

i have had a lot of fun with these. the games and stats for 5 min are real and the scores have come down to the wire.

:)

How are your defensive stats like tackles and sacks?

very good. i was finding that if all my rushing sliders were at 50 then thier was no running game from the cpu. they usually only gained like 20 yards per game. by using my sliders they now get 35 -50 yards per game ( remember this is only for 5 minute quarters and accelerated clock)
i was the redskins and i played against the chargers. portis( me) had 35 yards ( was about 1.5 yards per carry)and Lt(cpu) had 47 yards.( about 2.7 yards per carry) you could see better holes being made for the cpu. Lt had 3 runs over 10 yards and the rest were 2-4 yards. they shut me down running, i only had 1 long run of 12 yards and the rest were 1 -3 yards. i used more screens to move my offense.

my review of allpro is that the cpu cant run and its hard to get pressure on the cpu's QB.

by using my sliders, you should get about 1-3 sacks a game. you should get enough pressure so the qb is not just standing thier.

Thanks man, I got a newborn baby myself and time is limited. I don't want to spend hours playing but want realistic stats as well. I will try these out later today.

thanks will try these out and see how they work but LT and Portis are usually good for at least 75-85 yards a game, for them to have only 35-50 yards a game is not that realistic........

85 for a 60 minute game vs 35 yds for a 20 minute game?

The 35 yds for a 20 min game is actually a "pace" of 105 yds for a 60 min game.

YPC is a better indicator than pure yards, imo. 50 yds on 2 carries is less realistic (for a game anyway) than 50 yds on 11 carries.

I like when someone gives explanations beside their slider settings. Will try as I have a newborn as well! Thanks
