Create-A-Team in Madden '10 Question
In Create-A-Team, which cities are pronounced in the game that don't have NFL teams already? I noticed Las Vegas and San Antonio. Toronto may have been mentioned... its okay if no one knows.MLB: Oakland fan since 1999
NFL: Redskins fan since 1998
NHL: Calgary fan since 2002
NCAAF: Penn State fan since 2000

Re: Create-A-Team in Madden '10 Question
Anyone find any more? I tried Los Angeles but it didn't seem to work. Las Vegas did work and I just changed it to LA (rather than creating a whole new team) so that may be why.
But this will add a lot of realism to those of us who use created teams.
Also, anyone know if it is based on the name you give the team (i.e. name one) or the location where you choose city and state?Currently playing Axis Football (2020) as the Nebraska Thunder -
Re: Create-A-Team in Madden '10 Question
I use A LOT of created teams (sort of a hobby of mine) and so far in Madden 10, I have heard Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Boston spoken by the announcers and I think maybe one other city that I can't recall at the moment. I think that it would be cool when they were putting the game together if they had the announcers say the names of every city listed on the relocation list in franchise mode. It seems like it would have been easy to do and it would definitely be better to hear them say for example: " Touchdown Toronto or touchdown Portland " instead of " Touchdown Hometeam." :wink:Comment

I would hope names of players that are in the game, say like Miles 'Austin'.

Re: Create-A-Team in Madden '10 Question
I created a Peoria team and they don't say it.
Not too surprised about that![Insert clever, personally-relevant, or cutting-edge remark, data, link, or picture]Comment

Re: Create-A-Team in Madden '10 Question
You're right, they do say Los Angeles a lot. It's just seems like other cities they don't as much. I also have a Las Vegas team and only heard it mentioned once. Then again, maybe I'm just so wrapped up in the game, I don't pay attention. :wink:Comment

Re: Create-A-Team in Madden '10 Question
Now are you guys relocating a team, or creating a brand new expansion team? If you relocate a team then you can only move the team to a city listed so they probably will say that cities name, but if you create a team I'm not sure if they do, I have a 32 created teams league but I don't think I've heard them say the city names.Comment

Re: Create-A-Team in Madden '10 Question
You know, that's a good point. I haven't really relocated any teams in Madden 10 yet, I just swap 'em out before I begin the new franchise. Maybe they do say the team names once you relocate. Gotta try it out. I do know that on the last PC version I played (08), they would say the name of every city when you did a draft during the off season ex.: " Mexico City is now on the clock."Comment
