CLAYSTONE Cpu vs Cpu / Coaches Mode

FINAL VERSION 8/17/09 CPU vs CPU SLIDERS

EDIT:This is only for CPU vs CPU games. The coaches mode games can't work with these sliders. It seems the games AI doesn't see the players in coaches mode as a cpu player, but a human player. This negates the Cpu Skills setting to "0". Instead of giving both teams a "0" setting, its giving only one team that setting, allowing you to dominate the cpu.

    Clock: 15 min w/ 25 sec. acc. (I get 120 to 125 plays)
Player Skills: Custom (set all to "0")
Cpu Skills: all set to "0" (Zero).
Penalties: all set to 50 (Still Testing these)
    Game Speed: Slow
    Speed threshold: 42 (Updated)
    Playcalling: Beginner (Updated)

    Auto/Subb: 60/70
    Fatigue: 100

The reason why i kept everyhing at "0" is because i don't want to give an advantage/boost to either side. I like to keep an even playing field.

I will start a Lions Franchise Thread with these sliders. After playing hours today, i'm very happy with them for cpu vs cpu.

HOUSE RULES FOR CPU VS CPU
Since there are no injuries in cpu vs cpu, i'm going to have to franchises going at the same time. One will be played cpu vs cpu and the other will be simmed. The resason for this is to run the same game as a sim to figure out who i should keep out the next game due to injury. It's the only way to have a franchise with injuries.

The interceptions seem to be a bit high, which I found out as well, even when I switched it to zero.

          Yes they do.

Right now i'm testing the game in different sppeds. Slow or Normal. As you see i posted the slow speed game stats. Next is noral speed game stats, same game Jets vs Texans.

The next test will be putting in my scrub OL and see if ratings matter.

It seems "NORMAL" speed is playing out better than "SLOW".

I'm in the 3rd quarter and the score is JETS:10 - TEXANS:14. Players seem to be reacting more. Let me let the game finish and post stats before i comment more.

Only 1 int so far and more penalties being called.

Re: CLAYSTONE Cpu vs Cpu / Coaches Mode

My next "Test" will be seeing if ratings mean anything for my OL. I'm going to set my O-Line with scrubs. I want to see how they handle higher rated D-Lineman.

I'll post stats and you be the judge.

Just as i expected. O-lineman ratings means nothing in this game. My scrubs manhandle the starting D-Line from the Jets.

So this is why sacks are hard to come by.

Is special teams all set to "0" as well? And what about injuries, fatique and player min speed threshold?

Thanks. Looking foward to some good coach mode settings.

Speed threshold set at 0 seems to be too low the speed difference is too great.

                              Exactly!!!

This has is a problem. What good is it to draft a top rated O-Lineman when his ratings means nothing. You can pick up a 50 rated player with low AWR and bad Pass Block skills and he does just the same. I've played 3 games and one against the Steelers with my scrub line, and nothing.
