    Diving tackles problem..(question)

    I am pretty sure this was mentioned already? Why in the hell do they dive so weird when pressing square? They are in the air forever. Practically float

    I don't think it's that weird. I think it looks more realistic. In the Maddens of the past, you could dive at a player from 3 yards away and torpedo the guy to the ground. This year, you have to be pretty close before you even take a gamble to dive tackle. It just seems that when they do dive tackle, they lay out like superman, and that's often the case in real life when it's the last line of defense/desperation.

    I like it much better now.

      The first time I saw the animation you're talking about, I thought it was a bit strange, there was some serious hang time involved but I dunno, it's not terrible and it doesn't seem to be very common. Might just be me because I have a bad habit of attempting most tackles with the hit stick though.
