This seems like a good base set so far just played a game in the snow

Keep in mind this is in the snow which really does effect the gameplay. Defensive battle partly because of snow, partly because of the anemic offenses featured in this particular game.

They returned a kickoff before halftime, and i scored on a INT return also.

Flacco got hurt and troy smith was in charge of the offense the whole second half which let to some pretty bad passing numbers. (plus factor in the snow!)

All in all the game played great, the snow was probably not the greatest thing to test sliders with, but i think they did snow games very well this year.

I updated these overnight.....

The most updated set is on the sliders posted. One thing I'm trying to accomplish is to make it tougher on the scrub QB's to have consistent games.

I want to see a mixture of bad passes and good throws, I want to see qb's miss fire without getting hit and that is what the lower QBA settings are producing right now.

I upped the Pas BLk slider because you can't have it set too low if you expect the CPU QB to protect the ball even though he'll throw some bad passes. I almost went with QBA at 5 because that really shows a huge disparity between the guys with 80-90+ accuarcy as opposed to the guys with 60-70+ accuarcy.

With Tony Romo I can still make every throw if my FEET ARE SET.....with Jon Kitna i'm struggling big time just to stay at 50%

I know some of you guys might hate the fact that the ball sails on you sometimes but in years past this game never had that feeling to it. You could go 16/16 with Quincy Carter.....that ain't gonna happen now..

Some games the CPU will be very effective on the ground and some games they won't avg more than 3.0 ypg.....but my goal as I pointed out in the other thread was jump start their ground game and then go from there because I don't have a problem with the CPU playing SMASHMOUTH football for once in MADDEN.

I'll observe the stats posted and then continue to build towards my final version which usually takes me about 2-3 updates during a 2 week span. My goal is to find the best balance on offense and defense before the NFL regular season starts.

I played one game with these before and was smashed pretty badly, which is ok in itself but I still can't get any kind of pass rush with the Giants and its driving me nuts. I'm at the point where I may just go back to NCAA and wait for this game to be patched. I'm not having any fun at all so I have no real motivation to play this game right now. Between the lack of pass rush and my own inability to run the ball in any kind of effective way its put me in a very grouchy mood. So its time I played something fun instead.

I did enjoy the passing game though, I saw some astonishingly bad misses by second string quarterbacks, which was good but I found that these sliders made the deep ball all but impossible. (I'm not someone that abuses it, I may throw deep 2-3 times a game.) Each time I tried to stretch a pass out past 20-30 yards the QB overthrew by a mile. Still I think you have a great base here Playmaker and I hope you guys are having fun with this game.

From other thread: Hi Playmakers, I decided this year's is actually worthy enough to spend the time making sliders over. I already have a set I like..good to see you again.

Note of warning, 10 QB ACC can have some horrible results..I have 25 ACC for human QB and just threw 5 picks in one game Jets vs Dallas...it was horrific, only one of those was my fault, the rest were just throws at open guys, that instead were (redirected) thrown at defenders. And going as low as 10 for Cpu QB you'll get some mad stuff too. I played The Vikes 8 times in a row, and Jackson never went over 40% complete, he was averaging around 36% (consistantly) and that was with Cpu ACC at 40, catching 40 (there weren't many drop either)...

Anyways...since I'm doing slow speed, and you are doing the quicker speeds, maybe we can help each other out...if you find a way of getting pancakes for good Olinemen, let me know

Yeah, if you want to get a good idea of the QBA sliders play a couple games with Denver using Orton. ARGH! At 35 the guy can really piss you off as you try to complete passes with him.

I'm gonna have to check your sliders out after they get a bit more developed. I'm working on my own, but I always like your sliders, PM. After developing my own, I certainly have a new appreciation for what's involved in that. And it's sooooooo dependent too on the person's individual style. I'm looking forward to checking yours out.

I play with the Vikings and had some pretty good result from your sliders. I can finally put pressure on the QB. I always use your sliders and they give me good games.

I just played a quick game as the Eagles vs. the Packers.

I won the game 13-7 in OT which was nice, but I just couldn't run the ball at all. Westbrook had 20 carries for 26 yards. Other than that, it played very well.
