Anyone got breaking out of pro tak down?
 

Or at least have an Idea?

I'm guessing the hit stick mixed with the Left stick in the direction away from the defenders.

Or maybe the right stick in the direction of an opening?

or does the right stick only have 4 moves? Left, Right, Up, Down

Or Up Right, Right, Down Right, Down, Down Left, etc...

It depends on the player. If they have a high juke move, do that over and over. Spin, truck, etc...

With Adrian Peterson, I just keep hitting UP on the right stick (truck) and he does it. It is pretty random, though.

I think you just use your special moves (truck, juke, spin stiff arm) that your HB is good at and hope it works. If you have a big bruiser of a HB (a la Brandon Jacobs or Michael Turner) then focus on trucking (up on the right stick) and stiff arms (A button) to push people off. If you have an Elusive HB then focus on jukes and spins.

nice video, i've heard that people keep repeatedly pushing up on the right stick. which wouldn't be the first time madden made you button mash to break tackles. I remember when you could tap X really fast to break out.... maybe now with right stick?

I play with the Packers, and I can't believe how good Ryan Grant is in the game. He breaks out of some crazy tackles that I never expect him to. He's good in real life, but I don't think he's as good as he is in the game. I hope they don't tone him down in future roster updates though. :wink:

Honestly when your guy breaks away from a 4 player gang tackle, it just feels cheesy and unrealistic to me. Do not like it.

I had three guys on me (2 latched onto Barber, 1 latched onto the defenders). I knew I had to get out of it before more defenders could latch onto the pile. I hit circle and sure enough, barber spins out it! Check it out.
