SIM WAS THE HIDDEN GIMMICK TERM THIS YEAR!!!
Right now, I feel that the fans is like a batterd women indenial.Every year I would notice the gimmick term you know weapons ect.....but this year EA use the word sim as bait and caught the other (sim fans) off guard. The presentation was the guppy on the hook,if you take that away what do you got? 09 with better graphics.Sure every game has there bugs but not fundemental basic gameplay bugs that even stevie wonder can see.Im not going to front EA is the most buggy company this gen and they rely on patches more then they do the final product.I know they on a time release every year but if you can't find out the gameplay flaws as simple the repetitive over the shoulder catches, then its a wrap for the whole team and not just the tester either.Thats not my biggest rant but what really gets me heated is that when EA releases patches its just a lil band aid.Last year when I waited for Ncaa 09 to get a patch for the lack of pass rush,EA said they couldn't do it because of the wide open gameplay but yet its still the same issue this year hmmmm. For madden 09 I was waiting for the slider patch that didn't happen either,so will this patches be without the basic gameplay issues? Only time will tell.

Re: SIM WAS THE HIDDEN GIMMICK TERM THIS YEAR!!!
LOL! I'm sick of these people saying that M10 is basically the same as M09. That's total BS. I HATED M09 and the ones that came before that. I like 10 a lot. There are some problems that need to be addressed, and hopefully the patches will take care a lot of them.Watch ya self! Here come the Hawks, the Mighty Blackhawks!! Gamertag: andrae86.Comment

Its sickening that you would even make this comparison. Absolutely sickening.Right now, I feel that the fans is like a batterd women indenial.Every year I would notice the gimmick term you know weapons ect.....but this year EA use the word sim as bait and caught the other (sim fans) off guard. I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: SIM WAS THE HIDDEN GIMMICK TERM THIS YEAR!!!
All I know is I am sick of seeing nothing but madden HATE threads. I am a perfect model of "anti-madden". Having not bought madden since 05 on PC. I have tried every "next-gen" version and felt like crap. Madden 10 to me is a HUGE HUGE step in the right direction and is starting to feel like REAL football.
I think some people will NEVER be happy.
I think I will just stay out of the general madden boards, because the level of maturity here is very disturbing. Back to the supporters forum I goComment

Oh stop. He's not beating women because he used a strange analogy.
But, I don't agree with the OP. I think there's a lot of great things that 10 brings to the table that 09 didn't.
However, running the football and rushing the pasher really have issues.Jay Cutler is a whiny little girl.Comment

Re: SIM WAS THE HIDDEN GIMMICK TERM THIS YEAR!!!
I'm so sick of people saying it's re same thing everyyear.
It's a football game!
What do you want? Guns and tanks?
The core of it isn't gonna change.
The difference is that playing football on this years Madeen is fun.
It wasn't like that in past years.Comment

People complain just to complain. People who hate the franchise or feel like your being cheated...ITS VERY SIMPLE.
QUIT BUYING THE GAME, and quit all the negative post!! I struggle with people who know what they are getting, yet they still buy it, then come on here and complain. Please just don't buy the game, and help keep the boards clean!
THAT'S YOUR ANSWER..................DON"T BUY IT!!!Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: SIM WAS THE HIDDEN GIMMICK TERM THIS YEAR!!!
There's nothing wrong with running the football.
You just have to learn how to do it.
Just because you aren't breaking off 60 yard runs on every play, doesn't mean it's broken.
You know what the avg YPC is in the NFL?
About 3.0 yards.
This years game is much more realistic running the football.Comment

Yes, because that's what we need. Another new team to take over and start all over again.Right now, I feel that the fans is like a batterd women indenial.Every year I would notice the gimmick term you know weapons ect.....but this year EA use the word sim as bait and caught the other (sim fans) off guard. Some advice: If you're that disappointed in the game, sell it. In the time it took you to post this rant, you could've put it up on Ebay.........Comment

Re: SIM WAS THE HIDDEN GIMMICK TERM THIS YEAR!!!
I don't like the analogy either. It's sort of up there when someone uses the word "rape" to describe how bad they beat someone.
But the point of the matter is still there. I mean after all, there are 30+ pages of bugs/glitches being posted here. Okay, let's say half of those are responses to who is posting a bug. That's still 15 pages (and about 7 examples per page).
Are you as a Madden and football gaming fan being asked to evaluate how good M10 is or are you being asked how improved it is over M09.....when M09 is largely regarded as a **** sandwich?
Ya, ya, ya.... "but DFB, you're primarily a 2K player..... of course you're going to smash Madden with criticisms." Fair enough..... but there are things in 2K that I still want to see done better and can't get it to my satisfaction. Picky? Yes.
But, really.... just ask yourself. When you were done playing and getting a feel for M10 this past weekend, did you say to yourself, "hey, now that was a great game of football" or was is it more like, "wow, they are really getting close.... nice effort this year."
I wouldn't want to part with $60 coming away with that latter thought.Comment

Re: SIM WAS THE HIDDEN GIMMICK TERM THIS YEAR!!!
EXACTLY. Gone are the days of just rushing to the line and getting 5 yards a carry. You have to follow your blocks and even wait for them at times to develop. Seems the more towards "real" it gets the more whines show up.There's nothing wrong with running the football.

I've had some of the most fun games in Madden 10 and it's been a while since that has happened.
