EA really dropped the ball on online franchise.

Because EA who said they were giving us all the power (see vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07KX3QAhkak), but gave Commissioners NO POWER what so ever other than dropping players.

No access to approve Trades, No access to approve Free Agent signing. It doesn't matter what rules you set, it takes one person to screw it up.

We have rules in place, but one person goes AND SIGNS EVERY TOP FREE AGENT without any hassle, and drop half their roster.

What sucks is the Transaction history only goes back so far, so you can't even use that to fix everything.

Seriously how can you say you gave the commissioners total control, and you can't do jacksh*t.

I'm pretty upset myself..but luckily the franchise i'm running is pretty much a grown man's league and it's basically the same group of guys playing together from NBA 2K9. So we'll have a honor system in place. Anyone who breaks it knows they risk losing membership into a top quality league.

I feel you're pain and I agree with your posts even though you're a dirty eagles fan (I'm a Cowboys Fan). But yeah it hurts, because I've been wanting this features for years, and I could've overlooked the salary and the sliders for a while even thought they are sorely needed. But the Commissioner control is hurting a lot of franchises already. Just hearing the stories from my friends is disheartening from imagining what could have been.

The Biggest thing they dropped the ball on is not allowing Commishs to throw out game results like in NCAA....A guy doesn't follow the rules wins a game, and my hands are tied....

That video was done before the "Bean Counters" decided that it's best to wait till the next Madden version to add those features.

You know the drill, EA want's you back next year for Madden 11. And the new hype will begin with Online Franchise 2.0, now with Total Commissioners Control and whatever they left out this year.

In the same video they say that this is not a yearly thing. So there is no excuse.

Although I definitely agree that we were given a very barebones "league", there's no way that they would take out OF after years of calling for it. I'm pretty disappointed with how its turned out, but its the best we have with no other options.

                  For the millionth time,

This feature was thrown in towards the end of the cycle because of the demand for it.

I like it, I am in a nice OF, but to complain about the lack of features is nonsense. It was either have it in with bare bone features, or don't have it in at all.

We would be lying to ourselves if we said we would rather not have it at this point.

It is missing a lot of features, no one will dispute that, but it is an awesome feature to have this year, and it will only get better from here.

Umm it is MISSING ONE KEY FEATURE. CONTROL. It is totally worthless if people can sign free agents at will with no way to fix it. To have a commissioner have no control is total BS.

I could careless about salary cap, or trading picks, because if the commissioner has control, they can do it themselves.

Yeah you can say everyone maybe be adults but they aren't.

Also don't give me this end of development cylce BS.

Online Dynasty has been going on for a bit and works well.

I gotta degree in programming, so don't give me that crap. When they say they can change anything on the servers (18 game schedule), they can obviously give commissioners control.

People don't get it. They need to know what to fix, and this is one of them.

Too many people are swinging on their nuts because they post here. Grow up.

that does suck since most of ea sports following our cheesers
and ea sports likes to make the cheesers real happy every year because there bone headed enough to keep buying there garbage.

I missed it, but I have no doubt he did. You are one of the good guys and I believe you!

So disregard my argument and complain away

                            We all benefit.

Umm, get in a good league then?

The league I am in has no issue with this whatsoever.

I understand the frustration, but what would you rather have between these two options:
                            1. No online Franchise at all
                            2. Online franchise where the group has to find solutions to the problems to make everyone happy.

Seems like a pretty simple choice to me.

Seriously, really. All it takes is one person to F it up. I am in a good league, but one person ruins everything.

The choice is simple, do what you promise and give commissioners control.

I really do not see why anyone would argue against that, unless like I said before, everyone is kiss assing here because they post here.
