Roster Updates for FIFA 09-PS3(w/Russian and Other teams)

I am posting my roster file and my profile for anyone who would like to use it. It includes all the major leagues' transactions. Some people have had trouble uploading it to their system and others haven't so read the rest of the thread if you have questions.

As for the roster, this is the most recent version with the transfer window closed as of Sept. 1. I'm sure there are some players who have retired or returned from a loan spell that I've missed. If you see any glaring mistakes or omissions, please let me know. Hope you get more playing time out of it.

In addition, you may not like my roster file if you like using the Polish or Irish leagues. I've replaced many of the teams with teams that don't exist on the game but that I wanted. Given my limitations with customising on this game you have to use your imagination a little. I'll list the changes below:

*when players not created, a similar player was substituted. If you are more passionate about a particular team, create the necessary players.
*Any player with a club in the Middle East now is on St. Gallen

Someone mentioned that you can't use another person's save file. If you have any luck uploading it, even if you have to use my profile, then let me know so I can pass it on.

Did you load the Squads from your own profile, or did you load the profile that I had in the folder first and then load the squads?

I really thought it would work, because some other guys here on the forum mentioned that they had done it. Loaded their squads onto a friend's system. Doesn't seem like it should be so difficult, does it?

Take only SYS-Data and copy that your SAVEDATA folder

I included the profile file, but which one would be the sys-data? Is that the file listed under "Game Data Utility" because I can't get it to copy onto the USB? Where would I find it?

This is how it works guy´s:

First - copy your OWN squads (not the ones you downloaded in this thread) to a USB pen drive. You will have a folder similar to the ones that are included in the squads posted here.

Second - substitute the sys-data file that you have on YOUR squads, for the one inside the BLUS301760100 folder is posted HERE!

Remember substitute ONLY the sys-data file inside the BLUS301760100 folder (it´s the BIGGER sys-data file, the one in the other folder is way smaller in size).

Put the folder with the updated sys-data file inside the PS3/SAVEDATA folder and copy it to your PS3.

It WILL work like this, trust me!

Concluding: you maintain all the files that are created inside the folder for the squads, EXCEPT the sys-data file, were you use the new one posted here!!!

No problem. I've spent so much time updating the rosters the last month or two, it just seemed like a waste not to share it with anyone.

The transfer window will close in a couple of weeks, so I'll post the roster file again when squads are a bit more concrete. I figure Wesley Sneijder will be at Inter in a week, and Grygera somewhere else, so this one isn't final. Check back at the end of the month.

Weird - dloaded it, put it in my folders, transferred to PS3, but not Toure in Manchester City (still at Arsenal), no Kaka at Real Madrid (still at Milan)...nothing.
