So what is the deal with this slow speed?

Because some of the community sat and moaned about the game speed, EA went and changed the default speed online to slow. What about the other portions of the community that thinks the gameplay on slow is nearly unplayable? The passing is dumbed down to the point in which a two year old can maintain a completion percentage above 80%. Pressure can be absolutely awful at times. I'm not really a "nano-blitzer", but man, you rush six and it gets picked up even the slightest bit and you will get picked apart with ease.

I could make this same exact poll on many other Madden message boards, and the result will be the same. Apparently moaning and bugging Ian and the staff worked here to get the game speed changed to an awful standard, so it looks like I'm going to have to be out spoken to make this game playable again.

All I can do is sit in awe when I read posts saying slow is more like the NFL. The NFL is a fast paced game, this isn't a Conference 6 junior high football game.

The speed should be changed back to normal - and if the majority of the community wants it back to normal - then why not do it?

Like I said. THe only reason they changed it to slow was to please Pasta. It made no sense. No one was complaining and Normal was the perfect speed. No buy for me next year.

I think Ian said they were just testing it for the weekend and it was supposed to go back to normal, but it has not yet. I am not playing online till its normal. Its too brutal.

Animations run better at slow speed.... And the change of direction motions work much better. Lead passing does seem to be broken by the change. It's really a trade off. The benefits of slow outweigh the problems so far. Running game is better as well.

no wonder they want normal.....

"Run 1 or 2 plays the entire game!" bleh makes me want to puke. I'm really glad I started to play my offline franchise last night. I havent really had any bad experiences with online though, only a cheeser here or there, but my record is like 10-18 and I only play other level 1 people.

I sure hope they 'fix' online and put it back to normal speed, otherwise I might have to ebay my copy of madden to offset the cost of my 'fiyah-filled e-book' that got messed up by the speed change!

For experience people who know ur doing nano blitz
(they being either vick or rothlisberger) auto start running away as soon as they snap it and if theyre vick theyre faster than any LB so they run around to the right or and as soon as they get that extra second the nano blitz falls apart. (this is usually in 34 D)
Is there a better formation to nano blitz for people who are either ben or vick who love to roll left or right to counter those nanos

cuz all the videos the QB is just standing there and its obvious that hes not just gonna wait there to get sacked. i didnt see any scenarios with blitzing QBs ... duno if theres wildcat yet .. im not done watching

all of the QB's are sacked as the autodrop back is ending.. so they dont even have control to run back. however if someone knows how to cancel that on playactions or what not.. even then they cant throw on the run without getting hit and throwing up ducks.. if it is a super fast QB like vick... then keep watching the videos cuz in a couple of them i said exactly what to do.. lol i dont want to give it away on the forums so if u still need help just pm me.

Yep these are the people we should be listening to as far as what the speed should be online. Why are you guys partnered with that POS site? Thats their freaking moderator. Hes selling videos on how to nano blitz and run 2 plays the entire game for $29. Have some damn principles OS.

They need to put it back on normal. They made it easy for bums to play. I dont want to hear about nano's because they are stil there. As a matter of fact there are ones that will sack the qb before he drops back on the slow azz speed. I really love this game but they are f^ckin it up. I dont care what Pasta think. if he want to play on that slow azz mode let him play franchise mode.

SMFH. Just because 1 dude want it changed they change it because he gave them a good score.
