if sportsmanship is so important in this year's game

why does the AI run up the score?

Example:

WKU 7 USF 24, under 5 min in 4th

USF has ball following a int, and they come out throwing, score a td, and get ball back and do it again. Good news was with score 38 7 they decide to sit on ball.

I know playing with WKU I was asking for beatdowns in game. I can accept the loss. I played poorly. If they were running out the clock and scored tds on running plays, I would not be making this thread.

I have noticed this. I will hold them to 3rd and long when they are running the clock out by running the ball and then BOOM pass for 1st down. If I passed the ball just to get the 1st it would give me -50 for "running up the score"!

yeah i think its dumb to penalize for a trying to get a 1st down while running out the clock. i think about turning off SS everytime i get a penalty for it.

Even better, if you're winning by a large margin and use Ask Corso he'll still suggest passing plays but if you use them you'll get SS penalties.

ND did this to me.

Also, how do you turn off SS?

I was just up 1 with less than 2 minutes to go and I started running the ball not knowing if it would penalize me if I passed. I had to punt it and the other team won. If there is some life of when it gives points ans when it takes points away I would love to see it.
