Hungry for Football - NCAA 10 worth the buy?

I know this thread has been made before, but I just can't decide.

I originally decided I would wait until after Madden was released and choose one of them to buy (the better obviously). At first it looked like Madden had a lot going for it but I was suspect about how the game would play once people got past the new animations, etc. From what I've heard, it's what I expected/feared and I have little interest in Madden right now.

Sadly I sold NCAA 09 last year so I have no football game to play at the moment, and with the new seasons under way it's really bugging me - I want to play. But is NCAA 10 worth it? I know progression and such is a big problem, but if you had no football game in your possession, would you consider NCAA 10 worth buying?

As a preface, I am an offline only dynasty player who enjoys sim stats/gameplay. It doesn't have to be 'perfect', but the closer the better obviously.

It's a web forum bro, that's what it's here for. I *could* rent it, but rental fees in my area are stupidly high to the point where renting it and then buying it combines to be a huge waste of money. I've played the demo, it seemed fine, but it doesn't represent some areas that matter to me as an offline dynasty player.

You may not like his response, but he's right. It's all subjective, how can you possibly know that someone on here who tells you to buy it will think the same things about it as you do? And the same goes for the opposite opinion of not liking it. It's foolish to just take a random person's advice on an internet message board. Define "stupidly high" in terms of rental fees. I've never seen a rental cost more than around the $7 area, and that's a small price to pay for finding out whether or not you'd be wasting $60 on the purchase price.

The games got it's flaws that are hard to over-look for the die-hard college football fans. For those casual fans and the ones that over-look the problems it plays all right.

Now go rent the game and see if you feel the same way, some love it, some hate it. You know what they say about opinions...
