    MSU @ ND - Week 3

This game should be intriguing. Both teams are coming off last second losses. Both coaches should honestly probably be fired. Weis for his cumulative body of work and Dantonio for letting a MAC team beat him after he proclaimed the team would be ready for CMU and not look past them to ND. Loser of this game most likelty goes on to have a pretty horrid season. Winner can still rebound and get to 8 wins possibly 9.

I doubt MSU's secondary will be able to contain ND's receivers. But MSU has owned South Bend as of late. I don't think that MSU will fire Dantonio after this year, but if they get trounced by ND, MSU is looking at a 4 or 5 win season and MSU should begin the search. Not even Booby Williams or John Loser Smith lost to a MAC team in their tenure.

    Prediction: ND 31 MSU 23

I see MSU losing this as well, I give ND the win 35 - 24. Receivers will be too much for MSU's secondary and even though MSU played bad against CMU the special teams lost that game for them, they don't get that holding penalty it is game over with MSU winning.

I'm with you and it's a coin flip. I think ND's offense will do pretty well against MSU, but they are more conventional (compared to LeFevour running), so the D could step up. At the same time, MSU has their number, and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see them just demolish ND.

I had liked Dantonio as a coach, but losing to CMU is rough...I think they'll give him more time, I'm not sure how many of these guys are his recruits (the RichRod defense, need your own personnel), but I think the loss to Central wasn't about talent but more about getting your team ready to play and not make the mistakes. That's more on the coach.

Should be close. Could go either way with this but I'll go with Notre Dame 34 Michigan St. 28

If I was MSU, I'd give Dantonio an ultimatum. He had his one mega debacle free pass with this loss. This ND game doesn't really have much meaning to the season in the grand scheme. Now that MSU has &*^%*^ the bed, the only thing that matters is conference play. Anything short of a 5-3(actually should be 6-2) conference record and a victory over Michigan and I'd run the guy out of town. Talk is cheap, he needs to deliver.
