How long does it take for them to check the Patch?

Last week Ian Cummings said in their FAQ blog that the patch was being checked by Sony and Microsoft and should be out this week. Well how long does it take for them to check a patch? You would think it would be out by now for a game of this proportion.

something else that REALLY bothered me is that most of the things that SHOULD be in this patch are being held on until the next patch after this..well who knows how long that will take to be released. Considering it's taken them this long just to get one patch out.

I dont know about you guys, but I've been waiting for a patch so I can start my franchise. It's getting ridiculous that we had to wait over a month to get this and it's still not even out yet. IT TOOK THEM A MONTH TO EVEN ADDRESS A NEW PATCH! that's ridiculous IMO.

I am very frustrated with the "process" MS/Sony undertakes to certify a patch. There has simply got to be a better (quicker) way.

it seems that 2-3 weeks is the normal time for MS/Sony to certify a patch. It seems that certifying patches isn't high on MS/Sony's priority list.

Call up Sony/MS and complain or ask them what the hold up is.

Call up Sony/MS and complain or ask them what the hold up is.

All I am saying is making a bunch of threads asking where the patch is will not speed up the process.

I think it's fair people want to know where the damn patch is. It's been a month! I like the game, but there so many issues that should have been addressed before it was released. I'm tired of being EA's QA team. If that's the case, charge $30 for the game, and I won't mind waiting for the patch.

I think it's fair people want to know where the damn patch is. It's been a month! I like the game, but there so many issues that should have been addressed before it was released. I'm tired of being EA's QA team. If that's the case, charge $30 for the game, and I won't mind waiting for the patch.

So don't buy any sports game until 4 months after release.

heh, you're kidding. But I've actually done that with games before.

When I read about the save game bug for Ghostbusters, I waited till the patch came out. When I read about the vampire quest bug I Oblivion, I wated for that too.

In this day and age, its better not to buy a game on release date all the time, read up on em first.
