Is there a way to skip preseason?
I would like to use opening day rosters for my franchise, but every time I go through preseason, the computer makes a ton of transactions and players get injured. This is very annoying. I didn't see an option to skip this mode. Is there a way to skip preseason?Tags: None -

Re: Is there a way to skip preseason?
Can't skip it, but you can turn injuries off. Transactions are most likely to fill the roster requirements, nothing you can do about that either except control all the teams and manually sign the players you want(lower-level types). Or I suppose you can fill the rosters with the lower level players before starting your franchise. I haven't gotten deep into it yet, still working on my rosters, so I don't know if they sign the big name guys if they don't have any openings or not.Comment

Re: Is there a way to skip preseason?
You need to turn the franchise options (sign players; depth chart....)to USER rather than CPU.
You can access the franchise options in the franchise hub at the bottom.
The only way to stop injuries when simming is to turn "sim injuries" off then turn it back on when the reg season starts. This option is found in the same place as the franchise option (see above).Comment

Re: Is there a way to skip preseason?
Agreed, could we get more of a training camp idea? Establish chemistry, running plays effectively and rookie progression? Right now the preseason really blows and is just a good way to get players injured for no benefit.Caution: Whiskey, weed and Warren Zevon before writing.Comment
