Broadcast camera means i got the patch, right?
 

hi. i don't play online but got set up with a temporary Gold membership when i bought my console last year.

a couple days ago, i pluged my internet cable into my system to get the patch. i got a system update first. at some point it said my Gold membership expired and it gave me the choice, i think, to renew or go to the free level: silver, i believe. i did not pay for the new memebership.

anyway, i launched Madden 10 and it said there was a game update. i agreed.

i could NOT go into any live rooms to play a game; it said my membership had limitations or something

i disconnected from Live and started up a franchise game. i had Broadcast camera so i think i got the patch but my rosters were NOT updated.

so, are patches free for everyone but roster updates require Gold memberships? for what it's worth i don't care about updates that much, but i'll take 'em if they're free.
