How do you stop the CPU from blitzing so much?

How do you stop the CPU from blitzing too much? I'm playing on all madden and the game is way too easy because I can just dump it off for 20+ yards.

I recommend searching for several previous threads regarding this..

the solution I use, based off some of those previous threads, is to control all 32 teams in offline franchise then modify the team I am playing against in their coaching tendency sliders- drop defensive aggression to 0 or 10 and it reduces the blitzing (but doesn't remove them).

It seems to play more realistic, but its more work.

If you user control all 32 teams does that mean you have to do all their roster and off-season work or is there a way to un-control them after you adjust the defensive aggression?

Set up your blockers to account for the blitzers.

That's not the issue. Just the opposite. It's too easy to pass vs the cpu because they blitz so much. Guys are wide open.

lower the aggression sliders for all teams and go to franchise settings and change everything to CPU except the team of your choice...u will have to go through the whole draft though.

I've done that, using dfos81's sliders.

Never made much of a difference for me. Still see as many blitzes as ever in just as bad situations as usual.

Nothing we can do can fix this, imo.

EA needs to fix their playcalling code for the AI.
