Just wondering what some of the create-a-team names you guys have come up with are? Also where were they located?

I have been using those two create-a-team names since 2004 because it's usually pretty easy to find a compatible logo and color-scheme in the database. I use a Los Angeles location for both.

i usually roll with the Las Vegas Rhinos(black/orange/dark grey colors) or the San Juan Savages(blue/orange/black colors)

I usually go with the Blitz or Vipers. And normally to LA but that depends on the team I am re-locating.

Haha it's pretty funny that this thread came up the day after I came up with names for 32 created teams. I was thinking of making a whole new fantasy drafted league, so for fun I came up with names for 32 new teams. Not sure if Madden will let me make/use that many teams, but I haven't even decided if I'll use them or not.
I made the AFC 16 U.S. based teams and the NFC 16 international teams. I was very limited in terms of team names because I had to use the logos provided by EA. For picking which U.S. cities to use, I used the list provided in the team relocation screen in franchise mode as a guide. I included which [logo] I used. Here they are:

AFC EAST

Charlston Crocs (gator/croc eyes)
Richmond Kings [one of the logos looks like a crown]
Orlando Alligators [alligator/crocodile]
Providence Pilgrims [the helmet with the hat]

AFC NORTH

Lincoln Hawks [bird's head]
Salt Lake City Sharks [hammerhead shark]
Boise Baboons [baboon]
Bismarck Bulldogs [bulldog]

AFC SOUTH

San Antonio Rattlers [snake]

P.S. I always create the Toronto Argonauts for my main franchise. I used to use the "A" symbol but next-gen I use the centurion helmet emblem.

thats sick man. i could never do that. all my jerseys and such would start to look similar. i wish you could use the existing NFL logos as well as a bigger selection of provided logos. I have my fingers crossed that in the next few years when they put an emphasis on the franchise that we will see a create-a-team similar to NCAA's create-a-school this year.

I've been tinkering also, just using the Omaha Wranglers, but it would be awesome to redo 32 teams. I was wondering if they allow it also.
The question I would have is if they have enough fake players to fill up all the teams, or would you have duplicate players based on what type of team you create.
It would be nice for a fun type of franchise.

I will probably do that too if need be, but it would be fun for me to have a league of fake players. I had fun with one of the 2k baseball games that allowed you to use all fake players but with real teams.
When I was younger I created the North American Football League using one of the early Madden's on the genesis. The Toronto Towers had a pretty good team if I remember correctly.
