Most of you know me for my NCAA work and stuff.
I've worked on updating the rosters for NHL 10 using petrpuck's site as well as my own research (for rosters and best guesstimates of the projected lines) and have arrived at Version 1 of a roster update.
What's done?
- All CAPs for NHL teams via petrpuck's site.
- Most/all transactions up to date as of 9/30 for NHL teams.
- Accurate NHL opening night rosters (As best as humanly possible at this point).
- Updated lines/penalty units. (Obviously, the teams with better information will have more accurate lines).
Coming in Version 2
- Goalie Equipment Edits
- All of Petrpuck's AHL CAPs
- Accurate as possible AHL rosters.
- Updated Lines, including special teams units.
- Possible rating updates, not very likely though.
- Updated contracts to the appropriate cap hit numbers.
So basically, as of right now this is just a baseline set of rosters to work off, but I think is a pretty good start.

How To Get This on Your 360
You need XChange 360 and a transfer kit.
Download the .z36 file, copy it to the memory card, and load up the game.
There's a "dummy" gamertag that you need to sign in to prior to loading the game up. Load up the game signed in under the dummy profile, load the roster, then sign out and sign in to your normal gamertag. From there you can go ahead and save the roster.
What You Can do to Help
- Info, Info, Info
If you definitively know what your favorite team will be running for lines, specifically your power play and penalty kill units that would be a big +++
My Thanks To
- petrpuck
He does all the research for this stuff, and I don't really know how he does it. I'm just doing the grunt work. All thanks should be directed to him.
