NHL 2k10 Wii commercial its a chick party ?

Hi,
I normally dont post like this but I just woke up and I couldnt believe the commercial I saw on Versus of these chicks , thick hockey moms playing Wii hockey beating up their men .
With the its a Party theme , its just so wrong in so many ways can somebody please link it .
2k has really hit a new low with this commercial who is their target market ?.

Are you serious? The commercial cracks me up! It's a Wii commercial, man! The game is tailored towards people who otherwise might not get into a hockey game.

You're telling me the line "I love ya, but I'm gonna bake ya into a lemon bar and eat ya" isn't funny?

I actually thought they were funny too Not sure which one they showed up you can see them on the 2k site. The one when they are supposed to be playing Ovechkin online is hysterical

Yeah, they should be targeting the 23 of us on OS with a commercial about neutral zone tie ups and different forechecking strategies.

That's exactly it. The Wii powers-that-be continue to market the game towards the general masses that is the target audience for the system. I am glad to see it (though I won't ever play it).

I must admit when I hear the Hockey Song it grabs my attention and the screenshots from NHL10 are pretty cool too.

Love the Hockey Song, don't care much for the EA ad. It doesn't scream "hockey" to me. It says "cheesey-arcade-rockem-sockem-robots" on ice. But hey, that's what most hockey noobs who buy the game think hockey is. (Note, that excludes most of those who post at OS, since this is a place for those who are passionate about sports gaming.)
