Boardplay...

Hey guys,

Just gave 2k10 a rent here a while ago, and after putting in Venom's sliders (which have completely changed this game for me. This actually feels like authentic hockey. I almost half regret buying NHL 10 now) I've started to really enjoy playing.

My only issue is that I'm not sure how to initiate boardplay? Is it automatic? I've heard holding the body check button (B) will force players to the boards, but haven't been able to do it.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: Also, what's the status on roster updates? How often will 2k be doing them over Live? Or will anyone be making them for PS3 so I can download them off the internet? Quite a few players are missing in the default rosters.

The boardplay isn't really something happens frequently I find, but holding down the check button does the trick assuming you're positioned properly - that really seems to be the key to it.

As for rosters I have no idea about the official updates but there should be some stuff on 2kshare, not sure if it'll be any good though. Check out 2khockey.net as well I think those guys might do some updating.
