I was drafted by MIN in 1st round 28 pick (my guy is a PG) and I hated it. I don't want to be in MIN and to make matters worse, they have 5 PG in the summer camp. I was so happy when they said they have cut me before summer camp and I am free to choose my team, then I realized that if I do I will be playing with my doppeldanger (spelling) in the future. So I stick around playing behind Flynn even though I am outplaying him, and it is infuriating when you build up the lead and then the CPU will sub you out and loss the game. I said to myself, it is cool since I am only staying here temporarily and then bolt out at the first sign of opportunity.
I was playing my way for a while (ball hogging) until we started playing the playoff teams who has a better defensive capability to stop me on my tracks like Bron and PP. I started to develop a chemistry with Al Jefferson with my ability to draw the defense. After a few games with the team I started to notice his tendency and I would know exactly where he will be in the court for an easy Shaq prime dunk. And since this playoff teams will suddenly close the lane for my penetration I started to love Bruce Bowen in the corner also.
Sometime in Dec, both Love and Jefferson where injured and the team is left with Ely as the experience man in the low post. I was getting more minutes in the SG (even though my guy is a PG) position since it is very weak with only Bowen and my player to rely on (Willington sucks in my games). I have to learn how to play with Flynn with MIN's best players in the injured list. We won games with my guy and Flynn having a one two punch. I penetrate and he will pass the ball or I kick the ball to him. Bowen is a good spot up shooter but he is old so he can't play a lot of min. When, I am on the bench resting, Flynn pretty much carry the team on his own. And when he rest, I also carry the team. Both our PPG increased because of the absence of Love and Jefferson, while everyone else PPG remains the same.
I do not like Flynn cuz he is my rival, but now I have come to accept that he is a better starter than me in terms of ratings rather than statistics. The cpu also is giving me the same amount of minutes per game (in SG position mostly) as he gave to Flynn while Willington's minutes is plummeting. The chemistry has also develop in the game with my big guys catching my passes rather than dropping or missing them.
The game really got me hook. The atmosphere also of the game is great with people and players standing in anticipation of whats gonna happen next in close games and 2 min to go. Now, I am starting to like playing for MIN and I might stick around because the chemistry is already develop which is a big help to my guy's grade per game. Not to mention, my player's development will be a lot faster. Also, the good part of it all is that I might eventually start in favor of Flynn since he is rated 74. I am hoping to outrate him soon so I could start. BOS would have been my destination next season, but with Rondo rated at 87, I may have to wait longer to start. So MIN is just fine for now since it serves my interest until my player becomes a beast of his own.
Bron, enjoy your reign in the NBA now because the beast in the WEST is about to be born.

I think I'll love this feature a lot once the whole quarter length thing without DC is resolved. I'll still play the 5 minute quarters till then, but I'll definitely start over if they do something.. I'll be backing up Baron and taking Telfair's minutes.
