NCAA Basketball 10 Blog: CBS and ESPN Presentation Packages

EA has just posted another NCAA Basketball 10 blog. This one covering the CBS and ESPN presentation packages.

"This is the first time that an EA SPORTS title has had full ESPN in game presentation and the first time any sports game has had CBS Sports integration. It is also the first time that a sports game has had the option to choose your presentation package, complete with different announcing teams. ESPN covers over 500 college basketball games per year and CBS Sports has been broadcasting the tournament since 1982. Knowing this we feel that the integration of these leading brands evoke a strong emotional response when seen in game and will provide you with a greater level of authenticity and immersion. With all of these changes and innovations there is obviously going to be a lot you have never seen before, let's break it down and walk through all of the different presentation elements that make up what you will see and hear in NCAA Basketball 10."

Unbelievable. Again, I am stunned after reading that. Looks so damn good.

The overlays will show names when rosters are updated. Overlays will contain dynasty information as well which I guess was assumed, but it is nice that they mention it. Oh for an in game dynasty ticker with other scores as you play dynasty games or navigate through dynasty menus on a daily basis.

Also hoping these overlays stay on the screen long enough to read them. If people want to skip them, press a button.

Next blog will be about dynasty and tourney presentation. Still need to hear some dynasty info, but very excited due to this amazing presentation.

It says there is a video linked in the blog, but I don't see it. Am I missing it?

Unbelievable. Again, I am stunned after reading that. Looks so damn good.

Sweet. This will be the first time I have ever bought an ncaa game, whether it be football or basketball and all because of what I have seen for presentation.

Presentation looks amazing. But one thing worries me. In the poll overlays the #8 team California is 16-17. Not so good. Please tell me this has been fixed since then and this was in game testing mode, Jab.

Other than that though, this game is looks ridiculous. My created league will be money (check sig), and its a day one buy.

So they recorded new stuff, but does this mean more names? I was hoping that they could use the name list from NCAA Football for basketball too. Also, will the CBS team be saying the same amount of names as the ESPN crew?
