Da Rebirth 2k10 Draft Classes (PS3)

    DaRebirth (On 2kshare)

2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 complete draft classes have been uploaded on 2kshare. Every player in each class has been fully edited, including height/weight, looks, attributes, and tendencies. I used scouting report data from draftexpress.com, espn.com, nbadraft.net (if there was blatant discrepancy, I tended to side with draftexpress). Some high school players have had their height/weight increased to reflect potential natural growth.

FYI: If a player has proven his worth on the collegiate level, he will probably be rated higher (with a lower potential) than a projected "1 & done" player at his same position. This philosophy was used to govern my editing process.

If a player is missing from 1 class (ex. John Henson, who will follow the "Blake Griffin/Ed Davis plan in my ficitional draft class world), he will be included at some point in the series of 4 classes I'm doing.

    * Rubio is in the 2012 draft class, I plan on giving him a max contract and sending Minn some draft picks from whichever team drafts him.

*For those wishing to make accurate future draft pick transactions in Association mode.

For those unable to access 2kshare, this is the zip file with the post patch age glitch accounted for.

    Enjoy

Heck of a job with these. First class I've seen with ratings that actually match the rookies from the 09 class. You just saved me a lot of my own editing. Much appreciation.

These are great. The only thing I really edited was pretty much everyone's noses and some tattoos. But I really like the ratings that you got for everyone, overall fantastic job.

When can we expect to see the next 3?

I'm curious to know as well when we can expect to see 2011 & 2012?

I'm gonna download these later today and test them out but it seems like they are pretty good already. A lot of the classes I've been downloading have been leaving off a lot of big college players that I'd love to play with, so definitely looking forward to more draft classes beyond 2010.

                          quick question bro....

with the ratings this low.....how long does it take for these guys to be true impact players and develop into stars? The players that should (like Wall).

....because 2K rated Griffin a 76 and you rated Wall a 67 or 69....so that's a big difference from the best player in each draft...

To everyone that has expressed appreciation, I thank you in return. No problem, I enjoy association myself, just decided to share what I was gonna do anyway.

I have uploaded the 2011 Draft Class on 2kshare, same protocol was followed.

I redid the tendenicies/hot spots for the 2010 Class, as well as potential ratings. So if you liked the original, I believe Version 2 is much better.

*Why are the players rated so low?*

Of course, all of this is speculation combined with scouting reports that are available on draftexpress (tendencies/hotspots). The greater the body of work a player has, the more information to project how he fits as an NBA player. As for the case of John Wall/Blake Griffin, in a nutshell, you have one player that was the consensus best non-NBA player in the land crushing high level collegiate competition on a consistent basis. The other player dominated high schoolers (that he was a year older than) that has generated the majority of his buzz from his athleticism and potential when projected into the NBA game.

I personally think that alot of the rookies were rated too high, but I understand why they do that. Everyone loves playing with rookies and the masses complain when rookies suck. Truth be told, most rookies (and other "stars"/high level producers) struggle to crack rotations, and get significant PT in their early years. I'm not referring to the "we drafted you to be the face of the franchise" types, I'm talking about the 85% of a draft class that has to earn their PT. In regards to their progression/potential, I haven't checked to find out. I'm assuming that it will be largely based on opportunity, as it is in real life.

                            Just my 2 cents...

Gonna start the 2012 class today...will post in this thread when it's uploaded.

                            Peace.
