Is there a way to have a coaching career?
 

I saw someone say they had a Coaching Legacy on Madden. Is there any way to change the coaches name, fire the coach, or create a new coach? If so please let me know. Thanks!

Technically no. But if you have an imagination then yes.

First off there's two ways to do this.

First way: Pick an NFL Coach, and now you are him for his career. Now when starting franchise mode, select all the teams. And when franchise options come up make all CPU. Then start your franchise. Now select what coach you want to be. Now go to franchise options and make that team's roster management all USER. From now on you are him. If you get fired or want to leave to another team then hire yourself to another team. Once you do that, make your old team's roster management all CPU, and your new team all USER.

Second way: You do all the same things except your not a real life coach. You just choose the team you want to be and fire yourself if you suck, and leave to another team if you want.

Some notes: You control all 32 teams except they handle all their roster moves except trades. If you want to you can handle their rosters but it is difficult and time-consuming. Try and trade for some teams since the CPU won't do it, but if not it's okay. Also only do trades if the other team's interest is high.
