    Skate 3 Update (IGN)

IGN has posted the following Skate 3 updates:
    • Skate 3 Hands-on

"Outside of the team-based setup, perhaps the biggest new feature that we were unfortunately only given a quick glimpse of is the brand-new park creator. Whereas Skate 2 had a spot creator, Skate 3 will feature a ground-up park creator that will allow you to build a complex from scratch."

I don't know about this teammate stuff... The reason I liked the first 2 games so much was because I could pop it in and play by myself with no objectives. Hopefully that hasn't changed, because for me, the career mode is 5%, online 0.05%, and freeskate or non-challenge career mode 94.95% of my gaming experience.

I guess it's because they are running out of themes. Game 1 was your injury and your first taste of being sponsored, game 2 was your comeback story. They probably think they need a story arc for game 3, but I'd be happy with different challenges and a new city.

Curious to see how that Create-A-Skatepark mode works out. I remember playing THPS 2's an endless amount.
