I'm going to piggyback off of Pared's idea which I think is a good one.....and maybe we should have done earlier.
Focusing in on one area of a game...and it's problems in the current version as opposed to ADDING.
I realize we have the bugs and glitches thread....but this is more about a feature of the franchise mode that is not quite working as it should or at all...(for instance...transportation.....it works...but we hate it...and the 60 day DL...just plain not working)
I've been compiling a list...but of course...I will forget or just miss things.
PLEASE...PLEASE do not ask for whole new additions.
This is just to make sure the things in the game are working as they should.....or how "we" think they should.

Starting lineup order being switched around after we set them for all 30 teams.
But i guess you know about that one. (you could call this one feature of franchise that does not work the way it was intended).

I absolutely dislike the current injury system. I will never forget when my starter tore his rotator cuff and missed only 5 days (not a typo). The whole system is completely random.

This. It's the same kind of thing with MVP 05 where you had to start your stadium from scratch, despite already owning an MLB team - it just made no sense. Similarly, no Pro MLB team rides the bus to their games.

It's a toss up between the DL and the FA/trade logic in the offseason still needing serious work....

I'll go with the former since, though a pain, it's can be worked around better.

Hiring Coaches. The glitch where you couldn't get rid of bad coaches really bugged me.

The starting pitchers in post season. Teams cruising to the post season should be able to start their best pitcher in game one.

Reinforce what others said: Transportation, facilities, and all that. Major League teams all have these facilities...no need to buy them.

My ONE complaint: Retirements. Way too many players retire after year one...Derek Jeter isn't retiring any time really soon. Gotta be better logic there.

The retirement issue with big name players retiring due to poor free agent market, or age (35, etc) even though they were still putting up very respectable numbers.

The June Amateur Draft. It starts off with 10 rounds, but only does 5 or 6 of them because teams have ran out of prospects to draft. Find a way to make the draft pool deeper.
