Roster updates/2nd patch
 

Sorry, I haven't payed attention to these forums in a while but I have a few questions.

What happened to the roster updates? I haven't had one in quite some time.

And is there any details of the 2nd patch coming out soon? Holy balls it's almost December and it's not out yet. EA is a disgrace.

EA announced that they will not be updating the rosters every week. I believe the next update is expected on Nov 20th.

"I have been informed that the 2nd Madden 10 title update is officially in final 3rd party approvals. (i know...finally!)"


"All the details about what is in the 2nd title update should be released soon. Folks are working on the list and the blog."

And it's not the second "patch" anymore...but rather the second "title update."

...and? Lot of games use the phrase "title update" instead of "patch".

The term "title update" is what is generally used in the industry. The term "patch' is used more by the consumer. Same thing.

patch sounds like something done to fix a broken issue(s), title update sounds like there just improving or adding to the game. EA knows how to use wording, thats what Ian gets paid to do. The reality is, its a patch, they can do a update after the game is fixed.:)
