CPU Long Range Shooting Slider question....
Does it affect how frequent they will shoot the three or the success rate of a 3 point shot? Thanks!Tags: None -
Re: CPU Long Range Shooting Slider question....
I assume this to mean from how far they can successfully shoot the ball with good frequency. I say this because I think I also saw a player ratings for shooting range. The highest you can modify it to is 24. 3pt shooters have from 21 and over with the guys who can really drain it form a different area code at 24. I suspect this is interrelated to the cpu long range shooting as they both seem similar in name.----------

Re: CPU Long Range Shooting Slider question....
I generally have this problem as well. The cpu doesn't take enough threes. I did play at Duke and they kept dropping threes on me though. They made 23 three point attempts for the game. I had started an earlier game against them and it seemed like they shot even more threes. I didn't keep for that game. Basically, the team needs to be primarily three point shooting team for you to see the cpu jack them up. In real life college just about every team tries to shoot the three with more frequency than this game shows.----------

Re: CPU Long Range Shooting Slider question....
Increase the CPU hands on perimeter slider.
I have seen the players take more shots outside the paint after I upped it.Comment

Re: CPU Long Range Shooting Slider question....
That has nothing to do with this situation
That slider only controls how good or bad your perimeter players are at catching or holding onto the ball doing a steal attempt by the CPU
You can actually use that slider to create unforced turnovers on the perimeter
The best way to go about getting them to shoot more 3's is either by dynamic updates factoring in real world stats or possibly editing the shooting ranges of players on each team.....
I'd look at each teams rosters and see how many 3-pt shots were attempted last year by each player and then rate them accordingly. It's kinda like tricking them to shoot more 3's because of their ratings. If that approach doesn't work then it's hopeless unless of course it's tied into Dynamic updatesNCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: CPU Long Range Shooting Slider question....
Yeah it has nothing to do with how many 3's the cpu will shoot, you must of just played a team that will shoot them.
I have found out if you play a 2-3 zone the cpu will shoot alot more 3's.
I played against Colorado last night. The first half I played man to man and they shot 3 total 3's. The second half I played a zone and they shot 13 3's. Keep in mind the game was close they were not shooting them because they where behind.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Only thing I don't like about the gameplay.
