Hey Old Time PS2 Players....
 

......is it better to go with 09 or 10 for the PS2 as opposed to 10 for the PS3? Not bashing......looking for serious feedback. I know that many preferred the last-gen gameplay to current-gen so I'm wondering if its the same for 10 on the PS2. Just looking to finally change from 05.

I would think they are pretty similar. I played 09 on ps2 last year and it was nearly identical to the year before. I don't think they've been making many changes with the exception of rosters since the current gen consoles came out.

The only major difference between 09 and 10 on ps2 that I can think of is the commentary. Tom Hammond's play calling can be really dry and boring, 09s commentary is basically the same as 05 I think.

Stick with Madden 05 the graphics are actually better in 05 then they are in Madden 09 and 10 on PS2, just missing some features.

If your gonna get another Madden make it PS3 Madden 10

Lastly I guess online play is pretty bad for Madden 10 PS2 because the rosters and ratings are terrible.

If you are a franchise player, I would go with the ps2 even though I have a ps3. It's more in depth and fun to get into. My Dad's got the ps2 version and he is playing a lot more Madden than I am these past few weeks.

Are you talking about 09 or 10 for the PS2? I know that for 05 a Manifesto had to be used in order to get CPU coaches to call run/pass accurately. Has that been fixed for 09 and 10?

Madden 09 is the way to go for me, just b/c of Michaels/Madden in the booth :)

I still play the game when I have the PS2 plugged in and it plays a great game of football. Franchise mode is superior to the PS3/360 versions, by far.

You can find it used for under $15, too, which is a good price.

I would go with Madden 10 on the PS3 or Madden 09 on the PS2. Depends on your budget I guess
