Legends and Old School Teams
 

This is a thread to post the legends that didn't make it into the game and some of the old NFL teams that you've created.

G: Lawrence Taylor(OLB)- Speed Burner, Sack Master, Big Hit, Strength Bonus, Bull Rush
*I would give him Ball Strip, but fumbles don't happen much so it would be a wasted ability

G: Deion Sanders(CB)- Speed Burner, Coverage Bonus, Ball Hawk, Return Specialist, Quick Feet

G: Jim Brown(HB)- Speed Burner, Strength Bonus, Power, Branching Tackles, Stamina Boost

G: Bo Jackson(HB)- Speed Burner, Break Away Burst, Battering Ram, Cutback Ability, Strength Bonus

G: Terrell Davis(HB)- Break Away Burst, Cutback Ability, Strength Bonus, Soft Hands, Bulldozer

G: Michael Irvin(WR)- Deep Threat, Tough in the Middle, Acrobatic Catches, Possession Receiver, Bump Buster

G/S: Terry Bradshaw(QB)- Scrambler, Rocket Arm, Clutch

The problem with making Jim Brown a FB is that it doesn't properly capture the speed he ran with. He was the biggest, strongest, and fastest guy on the field in basically every game he ever played. Plus, the way Brown played the position, in particular his half-hearted blocking, would be more akin to a HB than a true FB. Larry Csonka and Jim Taylor are better examples of pure FBs that could block as well as run.

All of those guys should have been in the game. The only one that I understand is LT because he is under contract with Midway(Blitz). And yeah you're right, Jim Brown does play more true to himself at HB.
