Stats on Madden 2010
 

Hi everybody

I would like know why the detailed statistics of the other teams are not considered in relation to playing time chosen?
If I decide to play one season with quarters of 5 minutes, just my averages are taken into account.
The other teams have their average computed as if they played with quarters of 15 minutes like in real life.

Play 12 minute quarters with 15 runoff and you will get the stats like the rest of the league.

Yeah, they definitely need to add a Simulated Quarter Length. So all the simulated games would be like playing on 5 minutes or whatever option you choose. I like playing 12 or 13 minutes to get the true to life statistics, but sometimes I yearn to play a franchise on 5 minutes or 7 minutes with accelerated clock so I can knock out a few games a day and progress through multiple seasons quickly, but I can't stand my statistics being so low and all the simulated statistics being regular.

8 min quarters no acc clock gets me extremely realistic statistics on offense, and just slightly low statistics on defense

I think it would be hard to do. I know with 5 minute quarters my stats are blown way out of proportion of how a real game would be played with 5 minute quarters. I can put up scores like I was playing 15 minutes for the offense just not for the defense such as tackles and things. If they would add this somehow they would have to pretty much remake the way the whole game plays least thats how I see it.
