Pure Gameplay-compare All Pro 2K8 to NFL 2K5
Folks, Im about to jump into some 2K football just because I prefer it over Madden's primitive and repetitive football engine. I havent loaded up either NFL 2K5 or AP 2K8 in a while and I dont really care about the Franchise modes or having authentic NFL teams. I just want a realistic and immersive game of Football to play a season with.
With that said, can someone recommend either one and perhaps a brief reason why or a simple comparison between the strengths and weaknesses of both games? thanks and I would appreciate it! |

And 2k8 has a great team building system. When you play teams in the season you will notice the good running teams vs the good passing teams. You can create so many different team builds that wont play close to the same way. Its fun to have a power-run team, a west-coast offense, and a completly dominate d style team. Since nfl isnt important, get 2k8. Such a great game gameplay wise. |

I also suggest APF2k8. I really liked 2k5... but I loved 2k8. That game combines team building strategy with unparalleled gameplay.

Defensive Secondary is too loose, the focus bug, and the over effectiveness of generic pass blocking brings APF down to a tie.

NFL 2k5 is $1 and AP2k8 is $5. I play nfl for my franchise and ap for online.

s secondary. At least in APF, if you call the right coverage, you could have a chance to stop the hot corner. |
