how do i stop this deep pass
 

hey, you kno when you hot route a player and press up on the right stick the guy goes towards the sidelines and then deep, i keep getting burned in man and cover 3...what play should i use to stop this play?

If I remember correctly, it is an outside slant route. To remove the slant route would require you to play man press coverage.

To take it a step further most playbooks in the dime package have a play where either one or both safeties will play double man coverage. You can look to either sub a CB in at safety for that package and use those plays to completely eliminate those routes.
