Association NBA Today stat overlay covering screen during gameplay

I thought this was supposed to have been patched? This happens to me every one or two games. The NBA Today overlay screen will come up then just stay on the screen for like 30 seconds, even after I button out of it. It has made me get numerous 5 second calls, it covers a large portion of the screen so I almost always give up points on defense if the CPU has the ball when the overlay is up. Is this a known issue?

its happened to me once or twice since the patch, but its really not a big deal. i just have to burn a timeout. and really, 2 timeouts over the course of 20 games isnt a big deal. i dont know why its happening to some people so often. are you on ps3?

Do you button out of that screen ever? I've noticed recently that if I just let it play out, it doesn't seem to hang up.

no, i never button out of the screen. in fact, now that i think of it, the one time it did hang up i may have accidently hit a button.

It's happening to me too on the 360. And I never had this problem until the game was patched. And the patch was supposed to fix this. How something like this could happen is beyond me. Do these developers really know what they're doing?

Had this happen to me a couple days ago. Had to call a timeout in order to get it off.

I hadn't seen this until recently, and now it has happened in each of my past 2 games (PS3). Very annoying. So calling a timeout gets rid of the screen?

I had it stick once during a few free throws on the 360 but it went away right after the free throws were done.

I have only had this happen when in a rush and trying to skip through the NBA Today stuff.

It generally helps when a transition screen is made between different camera modes. By calling a timeout, you are forcing the game into a different camera angle causing the state overlay screen to disappear.
