EA Servers are killing me!

Come on EA, what is wrong with the servers lately? I played '09 with no lag ever and no problems getting in OTP games. First few months of '10 were fine, but now the past month or two, it has been horrible.

Its next to impossible to even get in a game. Seems like more times than not you can't even find an open room to play in unless you sit there for 10 minutes pressing triangle until you get lucky.

Tonight really pisses me off. Took forever to get in a game and then when I finally do, had a great game going into 3rd. A+, A+, A. Then all of a sudden, everyone d/c and boom, there goes my good grades. Server resets, get into another game and now its laggy almost to the point of unplayable and my stupid auto-back skate goes off which really screws up my game. Been trying like mad to get legend and this crap keeps happening.

I hear you Terps! The EA servers dropped me 5 times last night from OTP games.

My quest for the legend card in OTP has been nothing but an exercise in frustration.

I've yet to have a drop at all playing lately. It's been about a month since I've been dropped. Is that on PS3 where it's awful?

The best thing to do is clear your cache before playing. Sometimes that helps in getting a good connection and not being disconnected.

The EA servers, esp. for NHL get screwed up all the time. keep your cache clean helps. Hopefully, EA can fix this up.

I have the same issues where one night is really bad and others it's fine. Sorry to sound dumb but you just clear your cache on your computer?

Terps - you know of course that instead of going to the lobby you can go to Online Team Play (not community) and always get a game ranked or unranked from session match. No sense sitting in the lobby.

its been bad past few days, spotty bad i should say.

i had no issues with other games, cache cleared etc. it was just bad.

Lag mostly comes from people downloading torrents while gaming. IT pisses me off so bad. I dont have live, but just explaining the major cause of lag online.

sweetness.. since 2 pm est yesterday. the OTP and EASHL have been unplayable.

wake up this morning, i cant even connect to the servers. they are now all down.

am i the only one with this issue right now?

Same here. Last night I was only able to play 1-1 matches.

we played about 10 eashl games from 10-1pm est yesterday. logged on at 2, no dice. bah

i was able to play 1 v 1 as well. no fun lol.

Yeah, I haven't been able to connect for about a week. Is it a problem on EA's side?

It would help if we knew which console you were speaking about. I own both, but play NHL on 360. No server issues whatsoever.

I play on PS3 and havent had any major problems. In the last 30 games I may of been dropped once and had lag issues maybe twice. However a friend of mine is in a different state and he gets lag often. We both have issues when talking through headsets, it becomes doubled and you cant understand what the other person is saying.
