Quark versus Photoshop

Hi. Simple question: what would one use Quark for if Photoshop exists? What are the advantages to Quark?

Quark is a layout and design program similar to InDesign. It is nothing like Photoshop. In fact, the two are often used in conjunction for newspaper and magazine layout (Photoshop for the photo editing and Quark for the page layout).

Exactly. He hit the nail on the head. Quark vs. InDesign is just a personal preference, or whatever your company decides to use.
