    Semi vs. Manual

Can someone please explain what these do? I don't have the game yet, though I play friends copies all the time, and I play the demo everyday now... so I don't think you can pick manual or semi on the demo.

But anyways I'm getting the game for Christmas so I thought I'd go ahead and ask.

Basically manual control of the passing/lobbing/shooting vs. assisted.

When you get the game my recommendation is to visit one of the
Lounges online and create a custom session where you can filter
the types of teams your opponent chooses (you can actually cap
teams level of stars to prohibit use of Man U / Barcelona for example)
and also choose to play on all-manual controls where your opponent
has to do the same thing.

It's funny watching most flop around in frustration and becomes
rather evident that most of their previous play has been enabled
    by the computer.

Yeah, this is great. I play ranked games with 3-4 star teams and all manual controls. My opponents hate me, but it makes the game much more sim. Even though I play on normal game speed, the game seems slower. It allows you to set up your offense and see things build.

Man, I LOVE this! It is so great this year that you can set up matches that force the other user to use manual controls. I just played my first game online and beat this kid using Chelsea with a four star team.
