    Suggestions for league

Having just completed a season with Liverpool in Tournament mode, I am wondering which league I should try next. I am a big AC Milan fan, but don't like the changes that were made. In La Liga, Barcelona is my fave, but see little competition besides Real Madrid.

    Bundesliga? French? Portugal? Custom tournament?

Go to a lesser known league that isn't always in the headlines. League of Ireland has a few good teams. Cork City could be fun, in real life they are in shambles economically and have struggled to remain in the league. They are also a really good team. Galway United is a personal favorite of mine as I spent significant time in Galway and attended a match against Leeds. They are usually a young team, and have some talent, but they have had 2 or 3 coaches jump ship in the last year or two. They also are near the bottom in the table usually. Bohemians is usually a good team in the league and have finished near the top in recent years.

Try the Czech Republic, Norway, or Belgium. Could be fun. My vote is for the League of Ireland.
    Teams:

    NFL - Packers & Browns
    MLB - Brewers & Twins
NCAA Football - Wisconsin, LSU, Virginia Tech
    Soccer - Arsenal, Wolverhampton
    NHL - Wild

And whatever one you pick, make sure and download the additional commentary pack for that country! It gives a much more cultural feel to the matches, a great little addition. I think they have commentary for every major country's league.

Slurred English with an Irish accent? If they had Gaelic I would have it by now and would be using only the Irish teams. I do agree that adding the commentary does add to the game.

I tend to only stick with English teams. I love playing in Spain or Portugal with the shorter passes and sunny weather, but I just always end up playing with an EPL team because they are on TV most

            Re: Suggestions for league

I am torn between the Spanish and the French leagues. In Spain, I want to see if I can run the table with Barca, and might choose it and bump the difficulty up from professional. The French league is a great feeder league. The better players end up in the EPL or Serie A. Some matches figure to be played in the snow. When I played my season with Liverpool, there were no snow matches, but in one match, snow was piled up along the adboards. I thought that was a nice touch.

When I start the next season tournament, I plan on going in and editing players so I can get rid of the generic boots. I hate generics!

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

Hey you might get lucky and have the budget glitch and have to work AC Milan $200,000,000 out of debt.
