Why is this? Anyone else having this issue?

are you replaying the play before challenging? If you replay a play, its disallows you the ability to challenge a play, due to you getting an "unfair" advantage of looking at the play.

No I'm not viewing a replay. Not doing anything. I try to call the challenge while I'm at the play call screen (I pause and do coaching options down to challenge) except half the time it isn't there.

Sometimes it wont let you challenge, and you can NEVER challenge if the play happens at the end of a quarter. The chakkenge system has been like this in madden for years. Its one of the things they HAVE to fix for 11. Its so simple

hmmm...sorry man, I'm out of ideas then. Hopefully someone can provide you with an answer or explaination as to why its happening.

BTW..I agree with drolouis, the challenge system needs a makeover badly.

you can only call for a challenge, after the next playcall screen has appeared.

Often people will try to challenge immediately after a call (still in live play) and it won't work.

So the thing is. Wait for the next play. Heck even call the next play, and Challenge at the pre-snap.

I know that. It doesn't work every time.
