Jodie Meeks. I drafted him in the 14th round of a fantasy draft because i remember him dropin 50 when he was at kentucky. In the 3rd year of my association hes like a 65 but averages 18 ppg. In his rookie year he made 3 or 4 game winning threes.

Wouldn't say Eric Maynor is a scrub. He's just unlucky and behind Williams.

Except not. He is behind Russell Westbrook, and the last time I checked Deron Williams is a tad bit better than Westbrook.

I had Meeks on my team as well I didnt finish more than 1/2 a season but he does hit alot of shots. He has a knack for hitting that big three its like its coded in the game lol

i downloaded Deron Washington's dna from share, and i got him up to a 68 within 2 years at SF for the twolves. he is averaging 16 ppg, 7 boards, and 1 steal per game.

Re: Scrubs you've turned into superstars

Well, Andrea Bargnani's not exactly a scrub, but in my association not only is he the sharpshooting big-man but he's also developed a dominant post game over the years. His rebounding and shotblocking (as well as overall defense) is still lackluster, and he's averaged 20-25 points over the recent seasons, but still only about 6 rebounds and a block. Still, by now, he's a bonafide superstar for a championship-contending team.

Demar Derozan's a rookie with huge potential, so it might not be fair to call him a scrub just yet - but he's basically been my number two option in my current assosciation, with his hops and incredible speed. Plus, I worked on his handles and mid range game to increase his ability to get in the lane, create shots, etc. He's also developed into a lockdown defender because of his athleticism.

And these three have blossomed into superstars in my association, though for CPU-controlled teams as opposed to any of my doing (which is just really interesting for me). I suppose even then not all of these three are scrubs (Marvin Williams is probably the most scrubby) but Leandro Barbosa is averaging 20+ points, Rudy Fernandez averaged 25 points in my most recent season, and most surprisingly, for the Bobcats, Marvin Williams has averaged 19/20 points and 10+ rebounds for the past 3/4 seasons.

Also, in a seperate assosciation with the Suns, Steve Nash went down with a season-ending injury and I signed Brevin Knight as a replacement starter. Thanks to the fast pace of the Suns, he's averaged 10+ assists, and a whopping 3 steals. Though he still can't score worth crap (4.7 scoring average).

                    ---

Other Scrubs I've improved to borderline star/superstar level: Javaris Crittenton (aside from gun shenanigans, he's an incredible slashing athlete at the point guard position, and his size gives him a considerable advantage at both ends), Nick Young (bench-player, but he does have incredible offensive talent in this game, and irl), Steve Novak (I didn't improve him through offseasons or anything, but I played every game in the season, and made a living running pick and pops with him, getting him huge numbers in the process), Patty Mills (great attacking point guard and shooter).

Also, for those of you with the roster update, Serge Ibaka. He can be downright lethal once developed.

I don't usually get to develop guys, but I was able to make Acie Law into a sharpshooter even though his ratings suck. I have his shot animation down pat.

After one year the only guy that comes to mind in my case is Rodney Stuckey, who won Most Improved Player of the Year by averaging 19ppg, 9apg, 2spg. He's already pretty good though, but in real life I don't think he's "MVP discussion" good like he was for me.

I've managed to turn Stuckey into the league MVP in both 2k9 and now 2k10. He's just unstoppable in getting the basket.

I'm attempting to play a full 29-game season for my first time. Using Pared's sliders, I'm controlling the Kings and after only the first two games, Donte Green is averaging 19.5 PPG, 5.5 RPG, and 3 APG and he's shooting over 50% for his FG% and 3pt% so I'm pretty happy with him.
